Abstract
By using large volume tires with an inflation pressure of 0,4 kp/cm2 on the tractor during the seed bed preparation on a clay soil sensitive to compaction the grain yield of oats was increased by 478 kg/ha compared to seed bed preparation with the same equipment but with standard tires and an inflation pressure of 1,6 kp/cm2 On a part of the field, earlier used as pasture and with better soil structure, no yield increase was obtained
