Abstract

The report presents geographical, ecological, agricultural and socio-economic background information about the two case study areas Alseda (in Vetlanda municipality) and Selaön (in Strängnäs municipality). The research is carried out in the EU-programme AEMBAC of 5th Framework Contract Ref: QLRT-1999-31666. The results of the research programme are published by IUCN (Brussels ROf) and in other reports or articles
