Lower Mekong Basin; Water quality assessment

Abstract

The report assesses drivers (polluters) and status for water quality in the Lower Mekong Basin and examines several specific states – salinity, acidification and eutrophication. Water quality is also assessed using several Water Quality Indices. The Mekong River Commission Water Quality Programme started during the first half of 1985. Thus some trends in water quality are presented as well
