Abstract

The EU Water Framework Directive will clearly influence all OEMs working off-highway by requiring polluting substances to be phased out. Environmental concern may therefore be a new business area as well as quality criteria for a rewarding job. It will also influence OEMs to steer away from polluting substances and, in the longterm, influence design towards ´envirogentle´machines
