Abstract

This paper presents a simple derivation of eigenvalues, and left and right eigenvectors of a square nonsymmetric matrix that appears in sampling theory, and its properly normalized right eigenvectors give the inclusion probabilities. The proof is based on a special Vandermonde matrix.
