Abstract

Flora treatment of the genus Leonotis in the volume 8:8 of Flora Zambesiaca: Lamiaceae. Nine species in Africa, one of which, Leonotis nepetifolia, is a pantropical weed. L. leonurus from South Africa and L. nepetifolia are cultivated worldwide. This flora covers Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana.
