Abstract

Bryoria tortuosa (G.Merr.) Brodo & D.Hawksw. is reported as new to Sweden from two localities in Dalarna. Both localities are situated in the boreal zone near lakes in gently northern slopes covered by open, oldgrowth Pinus sylvestris forests with scattered Picea abies and deciduous trees. Almost all specimens were found on the lower branches of slow-grown Picea abies in glades
