Sol-Gel Precursors
Kessler, VadimAbstract
The chapter describes synthesis, molecular structures, and reactivity of metal–organic precursors for sol–gel process. A special focus is made on functional silicon alkoxides for production of hybrid materials and on metal alkoxides. The availability, stability, and suitability of different precursors are considered in relation to their application procedures and the target materials. Keywords
