Sammanfattning
In this essay I review published literature and discuss factors affecting post-stocking behaviour of grayling released in fluvial water. The study focuses on the European grayling (Thymallus thymallus (L)) and Arctic grayling (Thymallus arcticus (Pallas)). Besides publications on grayling I have added relevant references on river resident brown trout and other species in streams with similar behaviour and biology
